The Brazilian’s current deal expires in the summer and he is yet to be proposed new terms – with his agent Dinorah Santa Ana slamming the club’s attitude earlier this week.

Goal asked readers whether Barcelona, who are unable to sign new players in 2015 due to a transfer ban, should extend the contract of their right back.

An impressive 47.9% believe that Dani Alves should have the chance to increase his stay, with 27.7% arguing that his time has now passed.

A further 22.5% voted that Barcelona should wait until the end of the season to assess Dani Alves’ form before making a decision.

Many readers may have changed their mind after the Brazilian’s performance on Saturday as he made a huge mistake for Malaga’s winner as Barcelona fell to a shock 1-0 defeat.
