Reporters, a police spokesperson, DSP Celestina Kalu, who also confirmed
the development, said that the kidnappers called the monarch’s family
late Wednesday evening.
Mrs Kalu said: “We learnt this morning that the kidnappers called the family late Wednesday to demand a ransom of N100 million.”
“However, the police is working around the clock to track down the criminals and rescue the royal father unhurt,” she added.
