• 13 C. Álvarez Operated effectively as a sweeper keeper, and, although he had six put past him, it could have been more had he not made so many saves.
  
• 4 Antonio Amaya Defended high and lacked the pace to stop Barca getting in around the back. Was unaware of Messi as he scored his second.
  
• 14 E. Insúa Tried to get forward when he could but defended poorly on the left side of the back four.
  
• 2 Tito Played Suarez onside on the opening goal and was dismissed after conceding the penalty which Messi converted.
  
• 15 A. Ba Looked coltish in the centre of defence and struggled to deal with Suarez's movement, particularly on his second.
