PDP Is Not Ready For Peaceful Elections' – APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned the recent call by the president’s wife, Patience Jonathan, that Nigerians should stone those calling for change.
According to the APC, the First Lady’s statement is a reflection of the mind of her husband, Goodluck Jonathan.

The national publicity secretary of the party, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said this during an interview with The Punch on March 5, 2015.
Mohammed noted in his statement that the call for violence by the president’s wife had given credence to allegations by the Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi, that the First Lady was responsible for the violence at the APC rally in the Okrika local government area last month.
The APC spokesperson even claimed that the remark by Mrs Jonathan was evidence that the Peoples Democratic Party and the president were not ready for violence-free polls.
“Governor Amaechi has been justified by the Mrs. Jonathan’s call to violence. She had been making threats that the APC would not hold a rally in Okrik
